BRANDING
"Speak Up" is an initiative started by the Corban University Communications Department to provide a Biblical perspective on a variety of current issues.  

The design brief called for a logo that would communicate the initiative's focus on God and could serve as a visual reminder to students as they prepare speeches.

The ascender on the "K" in "Speak" extends upward to create an "up arrow", alluding to the word "Up" and highlighting the speaker's focus on God. The simplicity of the arrow creates a versatile system that allows the color of the arrow to be changed based on the topic of the speech. The graphic language created by the arrow is distinct and recognizable without compromising the school's branding or focus.
